His recounting of his time in heaven revealed that "everything existed in a perpetual state of hope fulfilled." As I think about the years I have searched for Truth and read countless times in the Bible how Jesus showed us how to pray in order to bring heaven to earth in our every day lives, Randy gives us the key. It is only through the intimate relationship we have with Jesus that we can represent Him fully to others on this earth. Randy shares that while he was in the presence of Jesus in heaven, he not once felt judged, nor felt unworthy, rather, he experienced the profound and unconditional acceptance and love from Him. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to know about the immense love Jesus has for you, what the culture and essence of heaven is, and to walk with Randy as he interprets his incredible experience with rock-solid Biblical truth and evidence he trumpets from his tender and altered heart! He gives a compelling account of his experience and comes across as very candid and trustworthy. Based on his very detailed NDE experience and similar accounts by others like Dr. Eben Alexander, it's pretty hard to dismiss these events as simply a manifestation of a semi-conscious brain. One thing is certain, many educated and credible folks have had experiences so compelling, so real that it changed the direction of their lives and careers. That in itself is impressive. I started reading it and I am convinced that I will love it. I will come back to give my comments at the end of the reading. I am french candian and I got used to reading in English, but I must add that it is one of the first book where I wonder what this or that word means :-) I will learn so much and improve my English, which is fabulous and it proves that Randy has a rich vocabulary :-).
